1. EVENT OVERVIEW:
The Open Stage Event is a platform for participants to showcase their talents in
various
performing arts, including but not limited to music, dance, drama, and poetry
2. ELIGIBILITY:
The event is open to all college students
Participants can perform individually or in groups
3. REGISTRATION:
Participants must register in advance to secure a slot in the Open Stage Event
Registration forms will be available soon
4. PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES:
Each performance should be within a time limit
Performances should be appropriate for a diverse audience and adhere to college
guidelines
5. EQUIPMENT AND PROPS:
Participants must bring their own instruments and props
Technical requirements (audio, lighting, etc) must be communicated in advance
6. JUDGING CRITERIA:
Performances will be judged based on creativity, originality, technical skill,
audience
engagement, and overall presentation
7. PRIZES:
Prizes will be awarded to the top performers, including certificates or trophies
8. BACKSTAGE PROTOCOL:
Participants must be ready backstage at least 15 minutes before their scheduled
performance time
Backstage volunteers will assist with coordination
9. PROFESSIONALISM:
Participants should conduct themselves professionally and respectfully towards
organisers,
judges, and fellow participants
10. DISQUALIFICATION:
Any violation of the event rules may result in disqualification
Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated
11. AUDIENCE ETIQUETTE:
Audience members are expected to show respect and appreciation for all performers
The use of mobile phones during performances is not allowed
12. PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING:
Photography and recording are allowed with permission from the performers
13. DISCLAIMER:
The organising committee reserves the right to amend the rules or disqualify any
participant
for reasons not covered in this rulebook
